AM Advocates is a unique opportunity for highly engaged supporters to unite behind a common cause - improving educational opportunities for children and adults in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
WHAT ARE WE ASKING FOR?
We know that the combined efforts of our community supporters can make a big impact.
As an AM Advocate, we will ask you to take an active role in supporting Abriendo Mentes – whether that means organizing a fundraiser on behalf of AM, encouraging friends to donate, or even joining us for an English class – the possibilities are endless.
As a member, there is an annual membership fee of $200 per individual and $300 per couple. All membership fees are 100% tax deductible donations and directly support our programming. Additional giving is welcomed and encouraged. Above all, we are looking for individuals who are interested in making a commitment to helping our organization and our community continue to succeed and grow.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING AN AM ADVOCATE?
AM Advocates will have the special opportunity to get an insider’s view of a local, grassroots nonprofit. You will get to meet our students and share in their achievements both in and out of the classroom. By joining our team, you will be able to see the successful outcomes of your efforts and personally witness your donation dollars making a positive impact in this community.
AM Advocates is also a fantastic social network; members will have the opportunity to meet like minded supporters at Advocates Events, where you will receive an in-depth update on our work, as well as have time to socialize with our volunteers and other AM Advocates. These events will always be fun and interactive. Please note you do not need to live in Guanacaste year round to be an AM Advocate.
HOW DO I PAY MY MEMBERSHIP FEES?
Membership fees can be paid by PayPal, cash, or bank transfer. You can pay your membership as a donation from the Donate section of this site.
